Sustainable Resolutions for 2018

Ready to lead a more sustainable lifestyle for 2018? To help you get started, we’ve listed a few options you can incorporate into your daily routine.

  1. Eat less meat and eat clean meat when you do. How about committing to Meatless Mondays?
  2. Always skip plastic straws. Don’t need it at home. Don’t need it as restaurant.
  3. Bring a reusable bottle with you and refill with tap water.
  4. Switch to LED lights in your home.
  5. Set up a carpool for work or walk, bike, and/or use transit whenever possible.
  6. Bring your reusable bags when shopping.
  7. Plan home-cooked meals weekly and only buy the necessary ingredients to avoid food waste.
  8. Donate used clothing and other unneeded home goods and appliances.
  9. Cut back on paper towels. Use old shirts or old wash towels as rags and use cloth napkins during meals.
  10. Buy products that have reduced packaging including loose fresh produce.
