City of Artesia’s International Street Fair & Diversity Festival

Among all U.S. cities, Artesia is at the top when it comes to cultural diversity.

Come celebrate that astounding fact with your fellow Artesians this October 4th, at the City’s first International Street Fair and Diversity Festival. The City is closing down Pioneer Boulevard from 183rd Street to 188th, 11 AM to 10 PM, for this festival.

This is expected to be a huge event for Artesia – a signature event meant specifically to embrace the broad group of individuals who create the tapestry of this city. All nationalities, even good ol’ fashion Americana, or even hybrids of several nationalities, are being celebrated at this festival.

The festival organizers say that there will be a shuttle system in place to assist residents from all parts of Artesia, and visitors at various parking locations, to come and join in the festivities.

Festival organizers are also looking for cultural performances, like dances, plays, demonstrations, or music. The City is also seeking restaurants and caterers who want to sell food at booths.

For more information, or if you are interested in having a booth, call City Hall at (562) 865-6262 and ask for Susie Gomes.
