Warm Enough for you? – NASA and NOAA claim 2014 as the hottest year on record

A new report released last week highlights a not-so-great achievement. Using data from several thousand weather stations around the world, the  NASA’s GISS (Goddard Institute of Space Studies) discovered that 2014 was the hottest year in modern record. This finding was confirmed through an independent study by scientist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

The warming trend, according to NASA, has accelerated during the past 30 years. The main attribution to this growth are greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere (most of these gases are man-made)
