Summer is cooling down and the fall is heating up. Folks we are at that time of the year once again. It’s time to put away the suntan-lotion and bring out the books because we’re going back to school! Students of all ages are starting to prepare for the upcoming school year, and what better way to prepare than to start by “Thinking Green!”
Environmental sustainability should be part of our everyday lives. In the Article “Back to School,” Earth Share reminds us to instill sustainable habits and such as carpooling, minimizing waste, and smart shopping.
“Buy school supplies with less packaging and seek those made with organic and/or recycled materials. Consider investing in sturdier products – this can ensure years of use from commonly used items like backpacks.”
Stay smart by keeping your mind and environment green!
